Monthly Subscriptions

By purchasing a Solar North - Journey of Light subscription, you agree to the following terms:

Subscription & Billing

The Solar North yarn subscription is offered in 3-month cycles. By joining, you are enrolling in the full 3-month cycle.

Subscriptions are billed monthly and automatically renew into the next 3-month cycle unless canceled within the stated cancellation window. You may join at any time (as long as there is sufficient space)

Cancellation Policy

To cancel your subscription and avoid renewal into the next cycle, you must notify us at least 14 days before the end of the third month of your current cycle.


Cancellations requested after this window will apply to the following cycle.

Due to the made-to-order nature of this club, subscriptions cannot be canceled mid-cycle, and partial refunds are not available.

Colorway Selection (Tonal or Variegated)

For tiers that include a choice between tonal or variegated yarn:

  • Your selection must be emailed by the 10th of each month

  • If no selection is received by the 10th, a colorway will be chosen for you.

  • Selections cannot be changed after the 10th

  • All subscription colorways are exclusive for members only!

Shipping Schedule

Solar North subscription orders are dyed to order and ship during the second half of each month. You will receive a shipping notification once your order has been shipped.

Shipping timelines may vary slightly due to holidays, weather, or supply delays. Any significant delays will be communicated.

Shipping Costs

Shipping is included in the subscription price for U.S. orders.


International subscribers are responsible for any additional shipping costs, customs fees, or import duties and will be billed separately each month for these costs.

Address Responsibility

Subscribers are responsible for ensuring their shipping address is accurate and up to date prior to monthly processing. Orders shipped to incorrect addresses due to customer error may require additional postage for reshipment.

Yarn Bases

A curated selection of yarn bases is available for the club.
Base choices are selected at sign-up and cannot be changed mid-chapter.

In rare cases of supply issues, a base may be substituted with one of equal or greater value.

OOAK Yarn

OOAK skeins included in select tiers are:

  • One of a kind

  • Hand-selected

  • Exclusive to the Solar North subscribers

Exact colors and dye styles will vary and are not replicated.

Returns & Refunds

Due to the custom and subscription-based nature of this club, all sales are final.
Returns and refunds are not accepted.

If there is an issue with your order (missing item or damage in transit), please contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can assist.

Failed Payments

If a payment fails, shipment may be delayed or skipped until payment is successfully processed. Repeated failed payments may result in cancellation of the subscription.

Club Capacity

Solar North enrollment may be limited. Spaces are not guaranteed once a cycle has begun, and re-enrollment is subject to availability.

Reordering Past Colorways

Members may request additional skeins of previous Solar North colorways. All reorders are dyed to order and fulfilled as time allows, in order to maintain our regular dye schedule. Please note that reorder timelines may vary and are not part of the standard monthly shipment. Shipping is included for members in the US.
