There was a stranger who was going to win a bet with the rest of the gods by using his big strong horse and Loki got the Stallion to follow him off into the hills.
Months later, Loki returned home with an 8 legged foal trailing behind him. And without explaining the birds and the bees, Loki was the foals mother 😂
Odin chose to keep the foal as his steed and named him Sleipnir.
